GPS and NDIS Providers
Emma offers professional counselling services tailored for individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, including those accessing therapy through GP support or the NDIS.
With a strong background in trauma-informed care and over fifteen years of experience, Emma works closely with clients, GPs, and NDIS providers to ensure a cohesive and effective therapeutic journey. Whether you’re self-referring or supported through a wider care team, Emma’s commitment remains the same—offering respectful, skilled, and personalised support that puts your wellbeing first.
GENERAL PRACTITIONERS
Clients can self-refer for therapy with Emma. GP referrals are not required because Medicare rebates are unavailable with a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
However, Emma encourages GP support for clients undergoing therapy, and as such, referrals are welcome to provide a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. With over fifteen years of counselling experience, Emma has worked with GP’s, psychiatrists, and psychologists to ensure the best care is provided for clients. She is registered with PACFA as a Clinical Counsellor, and has a post-graduate degree in Masters in Counselling Practice.
Upon request and with client consent, Emma can write progress reports. These are usually required for Workers’ Compensation Claims, or the Insurance Commission WA.
Counselling fees are similar to the out-of-pocket expense incurred with psychology fees. For clients who require regular ongoing counselling, Emma is not limited to 10 sessions per calendar year. This is especially helpful for the clients Emma predominantly works with in the area of complex trauma.
nDIS PROVIDERS
Emma works with NDIS participants aged 14 and above. Emma provides therapeutic support to participants who have a mental health diagnosis of Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, or C-PTSD. She also works with people who have been assessed and diagnosed with ADHD or Autism.
With client consent, reports are provided to NDIS providers to support new funding plans.
